Design Engineering and CAD Software Support

		Purcell Technologies provides design engineering services and CAD support for our customers. This value-added service assists the customer by utilizing our years of experience. Purcell Technologies can be contacted easily on the internet through our home page or email, and can direct transfer files of drawings and specifications.
		We currently use AutoCAD version 2004 and Pro/E version "WildFire".

Prototypes & Low Volume Production

Purcell Technologies offers quick turn prototypes at a very competitive price. Purcell Technologies can make any bracket by using a standard configuration for tab locations or new locations and special cutouts. Standard configurations are made from our large selection of basic blanks using laser cutting. Bracket prototypes that require new tab locations are produced utilizing wire EDM, CNC, and piercing and tapping combinations. Purcell Technologies also offers prototype services for the Compact PCI and PMC Mezzanine Panels.

High Volume Production

From design engineering concepts through final production, Purcell Technologies has the technology and trained personnel to produce products from simple stamped parts to very complicated stampings and assemblies. Our ISO 9001 : 2000 certified facilities in the US, and China have a combined total of over 100,000 square feet.

Tooling and Fixturing

Purcell Technologies in house tool and die shops utilize computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technologies.

Finishes and Silk-Screening

Purcell Technologies offers the customer the option of choosing products that are pre-plated or post-plated. Some of the finishes we offer are nickel, zinc, alodine, chrome, silver, gold, painted, powder coating, silk screening, and others. All of these finishes are available in class I, II, or III cosmetic standards.

Materials

Purcell Technologies has a broad range of equipment that can stamp a variety of steel strengths to manufacture brackets and other precision products. Some of the materials we fabricate are cold rolled steel, stainless steel, extruded aluminum, zinc die cast, beryllium copper, plastics and others.
